New Horizons Ministries

New Horizons is a mission-minded congregation, offering ministries to the local community and supporting regional, national, and international mission through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

  • The Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry
    (314-427-7204) assists local residents with food. The Food Pantry is staffed by volunteers, many of whom come from our congregation. For assistance, please contact the food pantry number listed and not the church office.
  • Once a month we provide dinner, breakfast and overnight lodging for up to ten homeless people through a community-based ministry called Room at the Inn.
  • Monthly we collect nonperishable goods...food items, clothing, household items and bedding...for the Isaiah 58 inner city food program.
  • With other area churches, we help sponsor Ritenour Co-Care’s fund for utility bill requests.
  • Presbyterian Women (PW) sponsor collection of toys, books and presents for the Board of Religious Organization to help fill Christmas baskets for charitable organizations in the city.
  • In addition to four church-wide special offerings, we participate in Blanket Sunday, Plowsharing Crafts, Souper Bowl Sunday and St. Nicholas Fund.  Read more...
  • Other services our congregation provides to the community includes sharing our facility with the Nendeni Presbyterian Community, 12-step programs, T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and as a voting location.
